Our trip across the country!!

It was a LONG drive that started on July 31st.  We enjoyed sharing in Brandon's baptism and then loaded up our car and were on our way to Laramie, WY (our first stop).  It was pretty late by the time we rolled in so we pretty much just went to bed.  The next morning we were up and excited to get going.  We stopped at the Lincoln Monument on our way out of Wyoming and our Lincoln thought it was "totally awesome"!  We were very excited when we made it to our second stop - Nana's and Papa Steve's in Kansas City, MO!!  We spent an extra day there and loved every minute!! Lincoln got a little flu bug so we were very grateful to be with Nana and not in a hotel! Lincoln did manage to enjoy the perfect bubble bath and both of them loved going to get their new football cleats - thanks Papa Steve!!!  Our third stop was in Louisville, Kentucky.  This was really cool cause none of us had ever been to this part of the United States before.  We crossed lots of rivers and loved seeing the St. Louis Arch.  Our hotel was right on the river and it was fun to hear about the time that Megan had spent here as a nanny for Scott Padgett's family!  The boys were excited cause we finally got to swim!  We were all very excited to start our finaly leg into Raleigh!!  This part of the drive was so beautiful as we traveled though the mountains of West Virginia and Virginia.  We were introduced to a southern rain storm that was so incredible and serious we couldn't see out our windshield!  We arrived at the hotel and were so happy to have made it all the way across the country in safety!  We loved all the well wishes along the way and are so very grateful to all of our family and friends who have helped and continue to help us as we start this new adventure in our live!  We love you all!!!!
