Pinata Party

I LOVE SKYPE!! We enjoyed being a part of Grandpa and Grandma Ihler's Pinata Party thanks to technology! We were able to eat dinner at the same time and then when it got to the pinata time, Lincoln picked Uncle Beau to swing for him and Zach picked Aunt Cort. They both did a really great job helping them out! We cheered and laughed as the prizes were being given out and were thankful for Cameron's play by play cause it was a little hard to hear, but he kept us informed. We are grateful for family and for how much we love that we can be a part even though we live far away! We are so blessed!

Shootin' Hoops

Both Zach and Lincoln had their first basketball games today.  Lincoln's team is the Komodo Dragons and Zach's team is the Lakers (he is not happy about that). They both played really good and it is pretty cool cause they have a tunnel for the kids to run out of. In Lincoln's age group they don't keep score, but Lincoln kept track of how many baskets he made (8) and Zach's team won 16 to 6. They both play point guard and are loving it!! Zach is number 22 and Lincoln is number 1 (which stands for 1st class according to Lincoln) :)

Happy New Year - 2011

Happy New Year! We had a really fun New Year Celebration! The Ellett family (in our ward) hosts a party each year where about 5-6 families come and compete against the other families in fun and crazy games. This year was "Minute-To-Win-It"! There were about 20 different challenges we were given and we had so much fun as we laughed and cheered each other on. Cute Zander (The Ellett's youngest) just couldn't take any more fun and he is the one asleep on the counter! We rang in the new year with tons of silly string and noise makers! I even got a new year's kiss!! We are so grateful to all of our family and friends in Utah and we really love our wonderful friends (who have become our family) here in North Carolina! May everyone enjoy a wonderful 2011!
